"Hit And Run" was inspired by the aftermath of a previous relationship of mine. Sometimes when you are in the thick of things, you don’t realize what’s happening and it’s only after the dust settles that you realize how shady the behavior was. That’s kind of what happened to me -- it took several months for me to be able to look back and be like “Woah!! I legit was just left out there in the middle of the highway after getting run over.” Some people suck. That’s the life lesson lol.
